This 2014 1954 Reissue GoldTop sounds exactly as you'd expect from an early Les Paul! Of course, the mahogany body provides the familiar warm and sustained tone. But someone once claimed that a good Les Paul always sounds a bit like a Telecaster. You'll readily agree when you hear the liveliness in the tone, thanks to the wraparound bridge, further enhanced by the direct and dynamic sound of the two P-90 pickups. Playing this guitar is really fun!
The guitar shown here is in excellent condition. Upon opening the case, you'd think you were holding a brand-new instrument. The top is absolutely free of any signs of wear, as are the fretboard and frets. Only the back of the body shows slight signs of use in the form of a few fine scratches. Overall: a fantastic guitar with a superb sound, delivered in its original case with all accessories. The final check and perfect setup by our luthier were also included.
