This is a very special set for both players and vintage enthusiasts because it is a true birth kit: all drums feature factory-stamped serial numbers that are tightly sequential/consecutive, proving they came off the Ludwig line together.

Condition & Professional Service:

The kit has been recently inspected and fully serviced by a professional luthier, ensuring excellent structural integrity, clean bearing edges, and top-tier performance. It tunes up beautifully and delivers that unmistakable warm, deep 1960s Ludwig tone.

Please note the following historical details, which are normal for its age and have been factored into the price:

• Extra Holes: There are 4 to 5 extra holes from past hardware modifications. However, they have been professionally plugged and are completely invisible from the outside. The kit looks flawless from a distance.
• Cosmetic Wear: There are some light scratches on the wrap due to age, along with a few vintage cigarette burns. Thanks to the natural swirl pattern of the Black Oyster Pearl finish, the burns blend in beautifully and are completely disguised.
• Internal Dampeners (Mufflers): The original internal tone control dampeners are present and functional, though they currently do not have the felt pads installed.

Shells: 3-piece configuration. The shells and interior Reso-Coat paint are in great shape.
