Up for sale is a legendary Yamaha Maple Custom 14" x 4" Piccolo Snare (Model MSD0104) in the beautiful Black Maple lacquer finish.
Dating back to November 1995 (Serial: LY4293), built at the historic Sakae factory in Japan.
Condition: Excellent. The shell and lacquer finish are exceptionally clean. A huge bonus is the condition of the iconic small gold lugs—they are in amazing shape with barely any pitting or oxidation, which is extremely rare for Yamaha drums of this era. Original Die-Cast hoops and smooth-operating strainer. Sounds incredible with a sharp, crisp crack, fast response, and plenty of body.
