Batteria usata, in condizioni molto buone, qualche piccolo graffio qua e là, ma nessun difetto serio da segnalare. 22”x17”, 12"x10" 13”x11”, 14”x12”, 15”x13”, fusti in betulla scandinava; i tom e il timpano hanno 9 strati e sono spessi 6 mm, la cassa ha 12 strati ed è spessa 9 mm. I bordi, leggermente “undersized”, hanno un angolo a 45°. La finitura era chiamata Graphite Lacquer, praticamente un Piano Black, molto bella ed elegante.
La serie Lite Birch fu prodotta dal 1982 al 1994, ha un timbro caldo ricco e moderno ancora oggi. Questo set ha misure grandi, certamente ideali per il Rock in senso generico.
Le profondità dei quattro tom non sono quelle “square” come sulla serie Signature e alcuni modelli Phonic, e possono essere quindi posizionati in maniera meno scomoda.
E' una batteria eccellente, di livello assolutamente professionale, e testimonia l'altissimo livello manufatturiero di Sonor.
