Designed, assembled and tested in the USA, the OM-7 is a dynamic vocal microphone frequently used by professional sound companies, sound engineers and in high-quality permanent installations.

The OM7 has become the standard on major rock concert tours. Compared to rival microphones, it delivers the highest amount of gain without feedback in monitors and on FOH. Its distinctive, unconventionally low output level (8–10 dB lower than a standard dynamic microphone) acts as a natural PAD, allowing the OM7 to handle incredibly high sound pressure levels without damaging the microphone. All this without compromising on the highest sound quality. It is also ideal for singers who hold the microphone with both hands, ‘cupping’ it in their palms.

The OM7 is best suited for use with high-quality mixing desks that offer ample power to compensate for the low gain.

The OM7 has a hypercardioid polar pattern, which greatly helps to isolate the vocals from the other instruments on stage. The microphone offers an exceptionally wide frequency response of 48 Hz – 19 kHz. The OM7 also features a thin VLM (Very Low Mass) diaphragm, ensuring a very natural sound with exceptionally good transient response.

This balanced-output microphone is very comfortable and easy to handle, and its black housing (made from a robust zinc alloy) has been designed to offer maximum durability even in harsh conditions.
A nylon mount is included in the set.
