New for 2024, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the 1963 Relic Telecaster. A beautifully crafted reproduction of a Telecaster from Fender’s golden era, this guitar perfectly combines the period-correct appointments of that time.

The select two-piece alder body features an artfully aged Relic® lacquer finish—available in Aged Olympic White, Fiesta Red, or Lake Placid Blue—and is paired with a maple neck featuring a '60s-style Oval "C" back shape and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard. With the throaty mids and bite of a Custom Shop hand-wound Original Blackguard bridge pickup and the crystalline clarity of a Custom Shop hand-wound Twisted Tele neck pickup, this guitar delivers classic Telecaster tone with surprising versatility. Other premium features include a 9.5" radius, 21 tall-narrow (6105) frets, Modern Tele® wiring with Greasebucket™ tone circuit, 3-way switch, 3-ply Mint Green pickguard, '58-'63 Tele bridge with threaded steel barrel saddles, vintage-style tuners, bone nut, wing string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
