The limited-edition fuzz pedal was unveiled July 24th, 2026, at the Third Man Hardware x Reverb pop-up event at Reverb’s Chicago HQ. Numbered to just 333, the pedals will be sold at the event, with a small portion available here in the Third Man Hardware Reverb Shop.Housed in Beetronics’ iconic collectible tuna can, this limited-edition fuzz pedal delivers thick, vintage-inspired tones with a beautifully simple one-knob design. The “Phlegmatic Roar” control sets the overall output volume, while the amount of fuzz is controlled directly from your guitar's volume knob. Roll it back for bright, articulate cleanup, or crank it wide open to unleash a roaring wall of vintage fuzz. Flip the pedal over to reveal Beetronics' signature bee-shaped PCB through the transparent back cover. While the pedal offers a timeless fuzz sound, it also serves as a unique collectible, with artwork by Rob Jones of Animal Rummy. The pedal ships in an over-the-top blister pack designed like a vintage novelty meat label. And—playing off the biblical tale of Samson and the lion—it comes complete with a taxidermy photo and tongue-in-cheek “Timnath Selects” exotic meats brand. The package encourages players to “Eat up, then plug in to give your guitar a belly full of BEES, like the carcass of Samson’s legendary leonine corpse.”
