About This Model
The Peavey PV 15M is a two-way passive floor monitor built around a 15-inch Sheffield Pro 1500+ woofer paired with a 14XT 1.4-inch titanium-diaphragm compression driver, covering a frequency range of 68 Hz to 17 kHz. It handles 500 watts program and 1000 watts peak at 8 ohms nominal impedance, with a maximum SPL of 127 dB. Two parallel 1/4" jacks allow easy daisy-chaining on stage, and the Sound Guard IV circuit protects the high-frequency driver from overload. The trapezoidal enclosure can be angled at 30 or 45 degrees on the floor, and a 1 3/8" pole mount cup lets it double as a main PA speaker when needed. A heavy-duty steel grille and steel handle complete the road-ready build. An external power amplifier is required to drive this speaker.
