The warm 2-color sunburst finish paired with a maple fretboard and small headstock embody the timeless appeal that has made the Stratocaster beloved across generations. This instrument features upgraded pickups: DiMarzio DP414 in the front position and DiMarzio DP404 in the rear, with the pots upgraded to 500kΩ specifications. These modifications create a distinctly high-output custom setup—quite different from typical vintage-oriented Stratocasters. The front pickup delivers thick, presence-rich tones, while the rear offers powerful, articulate drive sounds. The 5-way selector opens up a wide range of tonal possibilities, from clean to driven playing styles. This is a versatile instrument that truly shines.Combining the distinctive appeal of Japanese-made Fender craftsmanship with practical pickup and electronics customizations, this guitar maintains the traditional Stratocaster character while delivering more powerful sound. Highly recommended for players seeking classic Strat vibes with more punch.■SpecificationsManufacturer: FenderSeries: Fender JapanModel: ST57 StratocasterType: Stratocaster-type Electric GuitarCountry of Origin: JapanManufacturing Period: 2004–2005 (based on manufacturer's dating guide for R serial)Serial: R091164Neck Marking: Crafted in JapanColor: 2-Color SunburstBody Shape: Stratocaster-type Double CutawayNeck: MapleFretboard: MapleNeck Construction: Bolt-on JointNeck Joint: 4-pointFret Count: 21 FretsPosition Markers: Black DotHeadstock: Small HeadTuning Machines: 6-in-line Kluson-stylePickup Configuration: Single-coil size × 3 (SSS configuration, not SSH)Front Pickup: DiMarzio DP414Center Pickup: Single-coil size (model number unknown)Rear Pickup: DiMarzio DP404Pickup Selector: 5-wayControls: 1 Master Volume, 2 ToneBridge: 6-point Synchronized TremoloPickguard: WhiteBack Panel: WhiteJack Plate: ChromeNeck Plate: Chrome 4-pointModifications: DiMarzio pickups installed, electronics upgraded[Measurements]Nut Width: approx. 42mmScale: approx. 648mmSwitch: 5-wayControls: 1 volume, 2 toneWeight: approx. 3.53kgGauge: 09-42■ConditionMinor scratches and dings throughout, but overall in excellent condition.Neck: StraightTruss Rod: Good clearance both directionsFrets: approx. 80% remainingString Height at 12th Fret: 6th string approx. 2.0mm, 1st string approx. 1.5mmElectronics: No issues■Adjustments Made- Full cleaning- Fret polishing- Fretboard polishing- Neck adjustment- String replacement- String height adjustmentPlaying condition is excellent.■Included AccessoriesInstrument, soft case, tremolo arm■StorageThe instrument is stored indoors with humidity maintained between 45–55%, and the cased guitar includes humidity control packs.
