From arena tours with Prince to sessions with Ringo Starr and film work alongside Hans Zimmer, Sheila E. has built one of the most dynamic careers in percussion. Now, she’s letting fans take a piece of that history home.
Now open, The Official Sheila E. Reverb Shop will feature a wide-ranging collection of drum kits, percussion, and stage-worn fashion, all pulled directly from decades of performances, recordings, and personal archives.
Nearly everything in the shop has been played—on tour, in the studio, or on set. Some of these drums have been in her rotation since the mid-’90s, kept on hand to meet the needs of different artists and projects over the years.
One of her oldest setups on offer, the "Angel Kit," dates back to around 1995 and is covered in imagery representing family, life, and love. It’s as personal as it is expansive, with multiple kick drums and a full range of toms.
There’s also the custom "Flower Kit," built for a Ringo Starr All-Starr Tour run in the early 2000s. With its all-white hardware and extended kick configuration, it’s been a go-to across countless performances and recording sessions ever since.
Another standout is the "Love Kit," originally created for a collaborative album project and later used in sessions with artists like George Clinton and Snoop Dogg. Designed with multiple kick drum configurations, it can be split into separate setups or played as one massive rig—flexibility that mirrors Sheila’s approach to percussion.
For those looking for something truly one-off, the shop will also include a custom “E” inlaid kit—a unique build and the same kit she uses in her Masterclass.
Beyond the full kits, expect a mix of individual drums from past setups, Latin-focused configurations, and signature percussion pieces, including her E Family congas. Some items even trace back to gifts and collaborations—like drums played and given to her by Ringo Starr.
It’s not just instruments, either. Sheila’s love of fashion shows up throughout the shop, with stage-worn pieces from across her career—including looks from the Purple Rain era, where she and Prince famously tried to outdo each other’s outfits night after night. In one story she shared with us, she surprised Prince mid-show with a hidden one-legged outfit reveal—winning the night in the process.
At its core, this shop is about more than gear. It’s a chance to own pieces that carry decades of performances, collaborations, and personal history—what Sheila calls "love through music and drums."
