Fender has just released the latest signature model dropping this year, the elegant Bruno Mars Stratocaster. With its sleek and 1970s-inspired looks, we can easily see this guitar fitting the retro aesthetic and vibe of Mars' and Anderson .Paak's joint project, Silk Sonic.
This new Artist Series model features a super resonant ash body with sculpted American Ultra body contours for easy access to the upper frets of its custom C-shaped maple neck. The body is packed with custom Bruno Mars Stratocaster pickups that are fine-tuned to Mars' penchant for classic Strat sparkle and excellent lead tones. It also features a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo and deluxe locking tuners.
The guitar is finished in a special nitrocellulose lacquer Mars Mocha Heirloom color that inherently looks vintage and a bit aged, which is complemented by the model's broken-in-looking Heirloom Aged Gold Hardware. Helping further the vintage-inspired aesthetic are the custom leopard print guitar strap and three-ply mint green pickguard that are both included with the new model.
