Yamaha SLB300 Silent Electric Upright Bass

Yamaha SLB300 Silent Bass — one owner, bought new from Thomann in 2023.

This was my instrument through two years of jazz studies, and it has been resting in its case since — I'm simply not using it anymore, so it should go to someone who will. Everything works like new: electronics, tuners, all fully functional. No repairs, no modifications, 100% stock — even the strings are the original D'Addario Helicore Hybrid Lights it shipped with.

The one cosmetic flaw to mention: a visible scuff on the back where the extension shoulder/arm attaches, with a small chip in the wood finish. Purely cosmetic, no effect on structure or sound — shown in one of the photos. It is not even visible when the arm is attached.

The SLB300 is Yamaha's flagship silent upright — full 41" string length, packs down to a fraction of the size of an acoustic bass, and the onboard SRT system makes it sound like a mic'd upright straight out of the line out. Runs on two AA batteries. Perfect for practice, gigs, and recording.
