Up for sale is a highly sought-after, first-generation Squier Classic Vibe '50s Telecaster in a beautiful natural finish, showcasing a gorgeous pine wood grain. This specific guitar was manufactured in 2011 at the famous Grand Reward factory ("Crafted in China" CGS serial), a period legendary among guitarists for producing build qualities that rivaled much more expensive Fender models.
This Telecaster has been professionally upgraded into an absolute studio and live workhorse with premium, high-end electronics:
Pickups: Upgraded to a boutique, hand-wound Raw Vintage RV-TE set (valued at over 250 Euros brand new). These pickups bring out an incredible organic vintage twang, massive note definition, and superb dynamics.
Electronics: Upgraded with a custom 5-way Bill Lawrence "Half Out of Phase" circuit. This modification transforms the guitar into a sonic Swiss Army knife, giving you 5 completely distinct tones instead of the standard 3.
The 5-Way Switch Positions Explained:
Position 1 (Bridge): Classic, biting, direct Telecaster bridge twang.
Position 2 (Bridge + Neck Parallel with capacitor): The secret weapon of this mod. It filters frequencies (half out of phase) to deliver a beautiful, snappy, quacky tone that emulates the famous in-between positions of a Stratocaster.
Position 3 (Bridge + Neck Regular Parallel): The traditional, sweet, and hollow middle position of a standard Tele.
Position 4 (Neck): Warm, woody, and organic—perfect for blues, jazz, and pristine clean passages.
Position 5 (Bridge + Neck Serial): Connects both pickups in series, essentially turning them into a massive Humbucker. This gives you a significant output boost, perfect for pushing your amp into rich overdrive or fat lead tones.
Original Stock Parts Included:
To add even more value, all original stock parts are included in the sale (the original factory pickups and the stock 3-way switch) and the original knobs, should you ever want to revert the guitar back to its original factory specifications.
Condition:
The guitar is in excellent functional and aesthetic condition. The frets show minimal to no wear and the neck plays beautifully. There is only one small, purely cosmetic ding on the back of the body (clearly pictured), which obviously has zero impact on the structure, playability, or sound of the instrument.
