For sale is a genuine 1966 Fender Super reverb.
In excellent condition and maintenance. The transformers are all genuine.
Repairs that have been made:
Replacement of preamp tubes with carefully selected models.
Replacement of power tubes with premium TAD KT-66.
Replacement of rectifier tube.
Replacement of electrolytic capacitors.
Replacement of capacitors and resistors where deemed necessary.
All capacitors are carefully selected.
Replacement of front fabric.
Careful calibration of the amplifier.
Only the choke does not work (a resistor was placed in its place and it works normally).The replacement cost is minimal.
Conversions that have been made (without affecting the original operation of the amplifier):
Replacement of the vibrato intensity pot with a switch pot that disables the vibrato by choice.
Connection for tube - solid state rectification on the ground switch.
Replacement of speakers with Eminence Patriot Copperhead to withstand the greater headroom of the KT-66 and the conversions.
This is an amp with excellent performance and headroom without losing the original fender tone of the era.
Accompanied by the original CTS Alnico 10'' speakers for a return to the original sound.some of the speakers have been repaired or re coned and work, but are recommended only for the original power of the amp (6L6 TUBES - TUBE RECTIFIER - VIBRATO MODE) which can be selected by the conversions on the switches anyway.
Accompanied by a soft protective case.
