Serial Number 622200, Made in Japan (Green Label).

Fully working, complete with original box and extremely rare paperwork consisting in Japanese instructions and warranty sheet.

I also throw in a specific ‘80s boxed ACA-230P Power Supply and a brand-new era-alike Toshiba 9V S-006P battery.

CE-3 Analogue Stereo Chorus

The CE-3 is an analogue stereo chorus pedal, offering stereo in two modes; a WET A / DRY B, and a WET A / WET B (phase inverted signal). Many stereo chorus pedals of this era only offered the combination of DRY/WET outputs, so to have true affected stereo available is a nice feature. Otherwise operation is similar to the previous CE-2 with adjustments for depth and rate of chorusing.

Version differences
There are minor colour differences between versions of this pedal and from 1988 the CE-3 was shipped with white black knobs with white tops. The CE-3 was the first metallic coloured Boss compact pedal. The green label was introduced 1984 to indicate compliance with FCC rules and production moved to Taiwan in 1988.
