This pre-war archtop guitar is a wonderful sounding, nicely preserved and restored example of guitars made during the 1930's in the workshops located in Schönbach, Czechoslovakia (and the surrounding region which used to be very famous for its musical instrument production and exporting quality copies of American guitars all over the world). It's in a very good and preserved condition especially for its age with some authentic patina, completely and comfortably playable, and has a snappy, projecting sound with great dynamic response!

The guitar has a 16'' body (lower bout), a completely, profesionally refretted fretboard, it has been checked and cleaned and it is in a very nicely preserved condition. It has a maple neck with a lightly radiused rosewood fretboard, the brass tuners work fine too and there are no structural issues. The bridge is a typical adjustable one (adjusted to a higher height at some point in the past, working great), all the wear seen on the guitar is only visual – the varnish is all original with some very minor, usual marks of previous playing and use. As it is with most historical guitars I sell, this is not only a collectable instrument, but also one that is 100 % ready to be played on and used as it should be.

The scale lenght of the guitar is 622 mm, and the nut width is 46 mm. The guitar also features its original celulloid pickguard and includes a vintage guitar bag.
