For sale is this wonderful 1957 Martin 0-18, serial number 155681.

A genuine late-1950s Martin with everything people love about these guitars: lightweight construction, exceptional responsiveness and that dry, woody, open vintage tone that only decades of playing seem to produce. Despite its small body size, it delivers impressive projection, excellent midrange presence and remarkable clarity.

This is an honest player-grade vintage instrument. It has been well played throughout its life and shows plenty of cosmetic wear including scratches, finish checking, dings and playing marks, particularly on the back. All imperfections are visible in the photographs and are simply part of the guitar’s history.

This guitar was previously sold by The Fellowship of Acoustics (TFOA) and was also featured on Vintage & Rare.

According to the original TFOA description, the following work has been carried out:

• Professional neck reset
• Complete refret
• Bridge reglued and slotted
• New nut
• New saddle
• New bridge pins
• Professionally repaired back cracks
• Clean side patch where an output jack had previously been installed
• Strap button installed at the heel

The original tuners are still fitted.

The guitar comes with its original hard case.
