⚡️1968 Gibson EB-2 DC Sparkling Burgundy, with case ⚡️. We brought this bass in from afar; it is a rare find in absolutely remarkable condition.

This is the dual-pickup hollowbody model, featuring a large PAF-style pickup in the neck position and a mini-humbucker at the bridge for added versatility.

It has two volume controls, two tone controls, and a "baritone" switch that produces a very interesting phasing effect unique to this model.

This Gibson sports a "custom color" finish—Sparkling Burgundy—which is very rare and similar to Fender’s Candy Apple Red. It has taken on a slight coppery hue over time—simply magnificent.

Note the superb rosewood fretboard and original frets in excellent condition. It plays incredibly well; the neck is straight and feels great, the action is low, and the playing dynamics are amazing.

I’ve inspected and set it up in the workshop, and flatwound strings suit it perfectly.
It has been played, yet clearly spent many years safe and sound in its case under the owner's bed. As a result, it has aged beautifully and is now ready to hit the stage again.
