Originally made for the famous line of UHER audio TAPE recorders 

this mic is a a great piece of engineering of its own. 

the very sturdy and everlasting mesh and capsule assembly + the quality of production are result in some very reliable microphone . the MS Filter is very useful with this microphones prominent bass - and has a musical slope.

Consistency

I have seen so many of those and they all sounded exactly the same. I hear the differences between most Shure 58's and 57's that I use if they are not brand new, but here the difference is smaller and they are give or take 50 years old.

Durability

even though I have seen many of those , I still never repaired a single one.

I never saw any problem showing up on any of these mics. 

Sound Character
