Hello everyone!
I’m putting up for sale/trade my Fender Custom Shop ’63 Stratocaster Relic, a limited edition of only 20 pieces worldwide.
Its Olive Drab finish, close to Sherwood Green, has a unique characteristic: depending on the lighting, beautiful bluish reflections appear.
This guitar was specially built for the Musikmesse 2014 and was made in 2013. It is in very good condition.
I replaced the pickguard, pickup covers, and knobs as a nod to Mateus Asato’s recent Custom Shop ’63 Strat. The original parts are included.
Specs:
- Alder body with nitrocellulose finish
- 1960s-style maple neck profile
- Rosewood fingerboard
- 9.5” radius, 21 frets
- Custom Shop Josefina Hand-Wound ’50s pickups
- Frets in good condition (8.5/10)
Points to note:
- A visible scratch on the body (it’s a Relic, but the mark can still be seen)
- One bridge screw is seized/worn and no longer turns
- Strap not included
In short: a rare piece, ideal for both a demanding player and a collector.
