Rare example of a fully painted JB75-75 Jazz Bass, with matching body, neck, and headstock—one of the most unique Order Made examples I've seen. It is likely based on the custom all-white Jazz Basses of Hojin Egawa (who would receive an official artist model several years after this was produced). It is also very similar to the Moon JJ basses used and endorsed by Larry Graham.

These fully-painted models highlight the fact different finishes/clear coats were used on the necks and bodies during this era, with the body having aged considerably more than the neck. It features a two-piece center seam ash body, which is rare, especially for a bass with a solid finish.

Manufactured at the FujiGen factory in Japan.

The "H" serial prefix, "900" model suffix, and KO-112 order number date production to 1989. (Order KO-111 were TL52-65SPLs, of which some have a "650" suffix, meaning both were likely made in 1989 for sale in 1990, when the model suffixes changed to 3 digits in the catalog.)

100% fully functional.

Condition
Cosmetically the 37 year old instrument is in good shape, with dings, scratches, patina, and finish wear commensurate with age/play. Gold hardware has patina.

Frets have considerable wear, and with low action and little relief, there is some buzzing unless playing with very light touch. You could probably get away with a fret level, but they would be low.

Back of the neck is in good shape with a few minor dings.

Modifications
- Bartolini active preamp (bass boost/cut, treble boost/cut; body routed, pots and input jack replaced)
- Original pickguard removed; custom active circuit pickguard added
- Strap locks

Specs
- Ash body (2-piece)
- Maple neck with binding (painted)
- 7.25" radius
- Slim oval "C" neck
- Nut measures 1.552"
- Neck depth measures .853" at the first fret, and .997" at the twelfth fret
- 11.68lbs

Set up with 45-100 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation (albeit with aforementioned buzzing due to fret wear when not using a light touch).

Includes newer Fender padded gig bag and white pickup covers.
