Hamamatsu, Japan, July 11, 2019 - With the SY-1 Synthesizer, BOSS now offers its latest guitar synthesizer technology in the classic compact pedal format. Equipped with a powerful polyphonic generator, the SY-1 offers 121 ultra reactive synth sounds ready to play in programming without any knowledge. Easily interface with a standard 1/4 inch, this versatile pedal easily allows any guitarist or bassist to incorporate into his music the famous BOSS synthesizer technology.
Featuring the same advanced technology developed for the SY-300, SY-1 offers a wide range of analog sound in a convenient compact pedal. Leads, pads, organs, basses and many others are available and a range of sound effects and rhythmic patterns. The sounds are organized into 11 types, each comprising 11 variations.
The special DSP and the latest innovations BOSS, the SY-1 offers performance low latency for natural and organic gaming experience. The Tone / Rate and Depth knobs allow quick adjustment synth sounds, including the note pitch for certain sounds. And thanks to the button on the back, the input circuit can be instantly optimized for guitar or bass.
Like all compact pedals BOSS, the SY-1 excels when connected in series in a chain of effects. But with its loop send / return and mix dedicated controllers, it is also possible to connect one or several pedals in parallel to the synthesizer sounds of SY-1. The Send jack is also used to direct output to send the synth and guitar sounds to a separate destination.
The SY-1 helps make the game with synthetic sounds more dynamic and expressive in many ways. sustainably Press the switch pedal allows to prolong the last sound played synth, and play over with a guitar sound.
