Roland FP-8 digital piano, 88 fully weighted keys, made in Japan in the 1990s.
This is the model built around Roland's SA (Structured Adaptive) synthesis, the same engine as the RD series of the era. The piano sound has a particular character that people still go looking for: bright, articulate, and very responsive to touch. It has a following in house and hip-hop production circles and turns up on more records than its price suggests.
Specs: 88 weighted keys, SA synthesis, onboard effects, MIDI in/out/thru, stereo line outs, headphone out, built-in speakers.
Condition: good. Powers up and plays, all 88 keys working. Cosmetic wear consistent with age: marks and scuffs on the chassis, visible in the photos. Nothing broken.
No stand and no case included.
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. This is a heavy 88-key instrument (around 30 kg) and I am not equipped to crate and ship it. Collection near Dompierre-sur-Besbre (Allier, France), or in the Lyon area by arrangement. Come and play it before you decide.
