I'm selling this Gibson Tune-o-matic floating bridge (Gold ABR-1) with its fine inlaid ebony base..
I've rated its condition as “Very Good” only because of some tiny, barely noticeable signs of wear. You can get a clear idea of its condition from the many close-up photos I've posted.
This is the perfect opportunity to replace the old, broken, or missing bridge on your hand-carved Gibson archtop—whether it’s an L-5, Super 400, Byrdland, Johnny Smith, Legrand, Super V, etc.—ranging from certain vintage models to the latest Custom Shop models.
This superb bridge can also add a touch of class to the famous Japanese Gibson “lawsuit” copies from the ’70s made by Ibanez, Hondo, Eagle, Aria, Greco, Memphis, Antoria, Yamaha, Epiphone… Not to mention Peerless or Eastman jazz guitars, if that’s what you’re into.
This is a rare find online, and I have no intention of separating it for sale, as some have asked me to do.
Anyone who really wants to remove the ABR-1 Tune-O'Matic from its inlaid ebony base will have plenty of opportunity to do so once they've purchased it..
It’s a real bargain at this price, especially in this condition.
Please don't hesitate to ask—I can always provide additional photos or technical details if needed.
If shipped, the package will be protected, secured, and well-wrapped in bubble wrap.
No exchanges, please. Shipping from the Lyon area in France or in-person pickup (cash only).
Thank you for your attention.
