Outboard Reverb Units for Sale on Reverb
An outboard reverb unit lives in the same family as an outboard delay unit, and like outboard delays, there are a variety of different reverb options on the market to suit any use case. Here on Reverb, you can find everything you're looking for and more.
Outboard Reverb vs. Reverb Plugin
Unless you're using a true plate or spring reverb unit, the reverb effect that's right for you will create its sounds digitally. Still, there are some major differences between plugins and hardware units.
While plugins have some advantages over hardware units—like budget-friendliness and ease of use—many players and engineers still prefer the sonic textures of a hardware unit and the ability to have a more hands-on experience, which is particularly important and beneficial when it comes to performance.
