Roland MC-500 Micro Composer
Vintage sequencer and music production unit in cream/beige color. This classic 1980s piece represents an important chapter in Roland's legacy of portable music-making hardware.
Condition: The unit shows cosmetic wear consistent with age (patina on housing, minor marks). Powers on and displays the system message on the LCD screen. The mechanics appear intact — buttons, faders, encoders, and keyboard buttons all respond physically.
Important: This unit requires a system disk to fully boot and function. Without the original or replacement system disk, I have not been able to test operational capabilities beyond power-on and display response. The LCD clearly prompts "Insert System Disk and Press ENTER," indicating the unit is waiting for boot media.
What's Included:
- Roland MC-500 unit
- Power cable
- External expansion keyboard (right-hand unit, as shown)
Cosmetics: Housing is clean with light cosmetic wear. No cracks or major damage. The beige plastic shows age-appropriate patina.
For Buyers: This is ideal for collectors, Roland enthusiasts, or someone with access to MC-500 system disks who can complete testing and restoration. Due diligence on functionality should be done with proper boot media before final purchase.
Shipping: Ships from Belgium. Please contact me for exact shipping costs to your location. Sold as-is.
