The limited edition Fender 50th Anniversary Iron Maiden Dave Mur ray Stratocaster celebrates five decades of metal history and honors Dave Murray's defining castor in Iron Maiden's iconic guitar sound. This signature model combines the preferred specifications of his classic Stratocasters and delivers a modern blend of playability and an assertive sound. At the heart of the instrument are three Seymour Duncan pickups that authentically reproduce Murray's signature blend of clear attack, singing leads and rhythm parts. With a JB TB-4 trembucker on the bridge, the Stratocaster carries a bridge humbucker that is optimally adapted to the Floyd Rose Tremolo, while the '59 SH-1N humbucker on the neck delivers a softer Vintage-Sound. With an additional Antiquity Texas Hot Single Coil in the middle position, the electric guitar allows crunchy sounds, which means that far more sound possibilities outside the metal genre can be tackled. There is also a rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5"-14" compound radius, which offers maximum comfort from comfortable chord playing close to the saddle to faster solos in high registers. The Floyd Rose R2 double-locking tremolo ensures absolute tuning stability, reliably absorbing even extreme whammy attacks without the guitar running the risk of going out of tune. Visually, the model is closely based on Murray's most famous live guitars and is rounded off with a 50th Anniversary neck plate, which is a noble homage to Iron Maiden and their unmistakable signature sound.
