Produced in Western Germany in the 1950s and 60s.

The AKG D 11 HI A was developed for speech, broadcasting, and public address, offering a straightforward transformer-based output without the added complexity of switchable filters found in some of its siblings. This results in a direct, honest signal path and a very characteristic vintage tone.
