The AKG C414 XLS Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone is a multi-pattern microphone that offers a choice of nine polar patterns for the perfect sonic capture. For live-sound applications and permanent installations, the C414 XLS is engineered for the highest linearity and neutral sound.

With three attenuation levels (-6,-12,-18dB), you can use this microphone for close-up recording or high-output sources of up to 158dB SPL. Three different switchable bass-cut filters are included to reduce wind noise, subsonic noise or proximity effect. An overload warning with audio peak hold LED allows you to detect the shortest audio peaks.
