Vintage Avedis Zildjian 16” cymbal, weighing an exceptionally light 498 grams.
Based on the trademark stamp, this appears to be a 1970s-era Avedis Zildjian “Thin Stamp” cymbal, made in the USA.
At only 498g, this is an unusually thin 16” cymbal. The original ink/model designation is no longer present, so I cannot say with certainty whether it was originally sold as a crash, orchestral/hand cymbal or another model.
It has a very thin, responsive feel and would be particularly interesting for players looking for an exceptionally lightweight vintage Avedis cymbal.
