The Fender Lead was originally thought of by Dennis Handa as an answer to the Japanese Export market guitars which were cheap, simple but also very good.

Fender answered this by making a 25,5" guitar, Strat like neck, straightforward but also cheap guitars that are actually produced in the Fullerton Factory in the USA.
The Fender Lead II was 1 of 3 series fender produced between 1979 and 1982 that had a 3 way switch, and a Phase-Reversal Switch for many tonal options.
This Lead II comes in a 3,35kg and travels in the original hardshell case.
Freshly crowned and set up to fit every player's needs.
