The Marty Friedman signature SansAmp is a programmable model with presets for his signature clean, drive, and lead tones. Operability is similar to the SansAmp PSA 2.0, with two modes for different applications. In "Performance Mode," which allows instant sound switching during live performances, the three main presets can be called up immediately. On the other hand, in "Studio Mode," which is ideal for detailed sound creation in the studio, up to 128 custom presets can be stored and managed. Operation is very intuitive, and the sound changes in real time as you turn each knob, allowing you to smoothly create the tone you want without any special knowledge. Once the settings are finalized, simply press the "Save" button to complete saving. While designed to be easy for anyone to use, it delivers a professional sound. In the studio, the Marty Friedman Signature SansAmp can be used for direct recording, brushing up existing tracks during mixdown, or adding unique accents to various instruments. For live performances, it can be used as a preamp to connect to a power amp + speaker cabinet, or as a "monster direct box" that can be sent straight to a PA system. It can also output both at the same time and function as an outboard processor. This is an extremely versatile unit that can be flexibly adapted to different applications. The controls include reverb, 3-band active EQ, drive, and level. It also features an adjustable gate that smoothes out the signal rather than cutting it off abruptly. The "filter" control adjusts the tone character with a focus on the midrange and optimized voicing for Marty's unique sound. The design allows for flexible control of detailed nuances, allowing the player to create a sound that suits his or her individuality. Like all signature artist gear, the Marty Friedman Signature SansAmp not only faithfully reproduces Marty's core sound, but is also highly versatile enough to accommodate a variety of musical styles. It is in relatively clean condition with minor scratches and minimal signs of use.
