No cracks no breaks, PAF pickup , by 1960 these guitars are not the same animal!This one is very nice , just refretted professionally done , though the pickup ring and the pick guard are not original they are stunning!The mud switch could use a little cleaning up … comes with an early 60s gretsch case in fair condition all latches work!Hard to find these ones! Easy to find 1960 onward, this thing is immaculate.

Overview

The Anniversary series launched in 1958, replacing the earlier Streamliner series. It featured a similar single cutaway body, and stripped down aesthetics, but upgraded the Streamliner's DeArmond single coil for Gretsch's Filter'Tron humbucker. The "Single" Anniversary was also available as a "Double", featuring two pickups. In 1960, the Filter'Trons were replaced with Hi-Lo'Tron single coil pickups.
