About this listing
Gibson Les Paul Classic Vintage Sunburst 2004 w/ Headstock RepairThis Gibson Les Paul Classic features a 1960s slim neck, a strong throwback to vintage styles enhanced by the rare vintage sunburst finish. Manufactured in 2004, it weighs approximately 4.03 kg.As the "Classic" name suggests, it follows traditional specifications. It features a mahogany back, plain maple top, a thin, slim-tapered mahogany neck reminiscent of the 1960 Les Paul, and a dark rosewood fingerboard—wood materials typical of the golden age of Les Pauls. It features Kluson-type tuning machines. The inlays are noticeably yellowed, adding a dignified presence. The pickguard is also distinctive, stamped 1960.The wiring and pickups appear to be original, with black open-type humbuckers bearing "Gibson USA" and a "T" stamped on the back. (The originals from this period were "496R/500T" pickups.) They likely haven't been replaced.Arriving to us with a broken headstock, it has since been expertly repaired by our talented luthier, who also replaced the volume pot and levelled and dressed the frets resulting in a guitar that is now in excellent playing condition. This Classic is popular with hard/heavy guitarists thanks to its slim neck for its ease of play. It features a rare, subdued color, and can be used on stage or in recording studios without worrying about scratches. The sound is also great. Because of the broken neck, we are offering it at a lower price than a standard Classic, so it is recommended for those who don't mind minor details. On the other hand, those who do should refrain from purchasing.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Accessories: Gibson hard caseAppearance/Condition: In addition to the repaired neck, there are many scratches, scrapes, dents, and dull parts throughout the guitar.
