About this listing
Here for your consideration is a very fine Gibson EB-3, the upgraded two pickup model, dating to 1973. It's serial number would indicate a general production between '70-75, and its early '73 pots likely place it as a 1973 model. This was purchased from its original owner, a country upright player who never fell in love with playing electric bass. With its super warm, high output pickups it makes it very versatile, especially in conjunction with the Variatone circuit, all functioning just as it should.Cosmetically this example is very clean with very mild expected surface wear. Professionally setup, it has a straight neck and plays great. This bass currently is set with good action that measures 7/64" in height at the twelfth fret.
