Vintage Fender Stratocaster in Olympic White finish made in 1980 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid ash body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. Equipped with its original set of Fender Single Coil Strat pickups in the neck, middle and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 2 tone pots and a 5-way blade switch comprised of its original CTS pots dating to the 20th week of 1980. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and black side markers with 21 medium jumbo frets on a 9.5" radius with a Medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Fender F-Stamp tuning machines with contemporary cloche heads, a graphite nut, a Fender Vintage-Style Standard Synchronized Tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with a 3-ply white on black pickguard.
This guitar is in overall good condition. The Olympic White finish has aged into a creamy/buttery color that is more obvious in certain areas. The sides of the body have small finish chips and dings throughout. The headstock has some light dings and surface marks. The pickguard has discoloration throughout and light picking marks around the pickups. The Tone knobs and tuning machines were replaced at some point in its life. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes modern Fender Hard Shell Case.
