Fantastischer Original Vibrolux von 1966. Ich hatte das Vergnügen, schon einige Originale Blackface in meinem Leben zu besitzen. Dieses ist wohl der beste. Trotzdem muss ich jetzt meine Sammlung reduzieren.
Dieser Amp wurde 2023 noch einmal komplett gewartet und alles gecheckt. Alle wesentlichen Bauteile sind original, die Fotos geben im Zweifelsfall Aufschluss. Hier und da wurde ein Kondensator getauscht , der nicht mehr seinen Dienst tat . Der Amp läuft dadurch jetzt absolut sauber mit einem fantastischen Sound zum Niederknien. Die beiden originalen Jensen Speaker produzieren genau den Sound, wofür ein alter BlackFace so berühmt ist.
Es wurde die alte Frontbespannung, die nicht mehr gut war, getauscht.. Ein neuer Vintage korrekter Fußschalter liegt dabei.
Der Amp läuft auf 110 V.

I’ve had the pleasure of owning several original Blackfaces in my life, and this one is probably the best of them. Still, it’s time for me to reduce my collection.
The amp was fully serviced again in 2023 and everything was checked. All essential components are original — the photos provide clarity where needed. A few capacitors that were no longer functioning properly were replaced. As a result, the amp now runs absolutely cleanly with a stunning, drop-to-your-knees kind of tone. The two original Jensen speakers deliver exactly the sound that makes a vintage Blackface so famous.
The old grille cloth, which was no longer in good condition, has been replaced. A new, vintage-correct footswitch is included.
The amp runs on 110 V.
