One of the most fabled Flat-Tops of all time, the Gibson J-185 was released back in 1951 before being discontinued in '59 after less 1000 guitars were built. Back in 2020, Gibson re-released the J-185 Original, a stunning recreation of a lesser seen classic! With its distinctive appearance and beautifully balanced tone, it's a guitar that you aren't going to want to miss.

With a Sitka Spruce top on Flame Maple back and sides, it has a deep, resonant and real powerful sound. It's immediately recognisable and serves well both fingerpicking and strumming big chords.

With a beautiful Rosewood fingerboard, the J-185 features mother of pearl parallelogram inlays. It's comfortable, poised and ready to play. With such a stunning natural sound it really holds it own at the lower end, it offers great projection without compromising on note clarity. Loaded with a LR Baggs VTC system this acoustic is ready for the stage!

Made in Montana USA, the Gibson J-185 Original is a real beaut, as iconic as ever it's a real players guitar.
