Beautiful May 1976 Guild, sounds like the summer of '76!I bought this from its original owner a few years back, who had played it rarely and kept it under the bed for the last few decades. Sadly not before he put a few dings in it, nothing major - but of course other than these blemishes it would be near perfect. The frets have almost no wear. I have enough dreadnought/jumbo guitars and really want to get something smaller for finger-style, standing up on stage playing finger style with a large and slightly heavy guitar is not ideal. So I'm happy to trade up or down to something like a Lowden, Larravee, maybe even a Yamaha LS16, anything interesting and beautiful and perfectly suited to finger style - so a 44mm (1 3/4 or 1 11/16 minimum) nut width.Comes with the original non-branded case he bought with it in 1976, plus some vintage strings of unknown age...It can be seen and tried here in Côtes-d'Armor, France.I'd be happy to travel a fair distance to view a serious trade proposition. I'm in central Brittany, car or train to most of France would be OK, even a road trip to Holland or Germany, but let's see what comes up, and talk about it. Of course otherwise I'm prepared to ship this, but bearing in mind it's a fifty year old guitar, its buyer must be someone who's understand these things and isn't going to say - but it doesn't sound like 1976 - I don't like it! It's a collectors guitar but one that should be played. It's probably not perfect and might benefit from a decent setup, I don't touch things like truss rods etc, but the neck is straight, intonation is fine, but I rarely play it so let's do a deal.
