Up for sale is a beautiful early 1950s Gibson Royaltone Lap Steel in very clean vintage condition, complete with its original hard shell case. These classic Gibson steels are becoming increasingly collectible, and this one delivers the warm, rich tone you’d expect from a vintage Gibson P-90 pickup.The pickup sounds fantastic — clear, full, and dynamic with that unmistakable vintage Gibson character. The electronics appear to be original and are functioning well overall. The only issue worth mentioning is that the input jack can be intermittent at times and should be serviced by a qualified tech for dependable long-term use.Cosmetically, this lap steel presents very nicely with a gorgeous maple top, brown back and sides, and great vintage vibe throughout.
