2021 Fender Vintera ‘50s Telecaster Modified. These have fast become the most sought after MIM Fenders along with its precursor the 'Baja'.Blending classic looks with a modern neck profile and fingerboard radius, Custom Shop pickups and updated electronics; this guitar delivers smooth playability, versatility, and power.Fender included a CS Twisted-tele pickup in the neck, giving stratty warmth and sparkle. The hot, twangy and articulate vintage style CS pup in the bridge can handle as much gain as you desire. They are a fantastic set of pickups.4-way selector and the S-1 switch give you even more variety. Series wiring makes this Tele sound fat, like a humbucking pickup, while the S-1 switch places the pickups out of phase with each other for a cool “strangled” tone.A 9.5” radius maple fingerboard sits atop the “Thick Soft V” shaped neck, with a beautiful satin finish for feel and playability. A vintage-style Tele® bridge with three brass saddles gives this Telecaster it’s characteristic twang.This guitar has been seen some minor mods, but is essentially in as-new condition with no visible playwear, scratches, or dings etc. Professionally set-up and wearing .009-.046 Elixirs, the 21 medium-jumbo frets have been dressed slightly, with the ends rounded off nicely. A new bone nut has been installed, and all cavities have been fully shielded which has drastically reduced noise.
