Vintage Teletronix LA-2A Mono Tube Opto Compressor/Limiter – Revision 1 Gray Face

For sale is my vintage Teletronix LA-2A Revision 1 “Gray Face” mono tube optical compressor/limiter.

This is an early original Teletronix LA-2A Gray Face unit from the highly collectible first revision era. These early LA-2A units are among the most desirable versions of the classic tube opto compressor, known for their smooth program-dependent compression, unmistakable vocal tone, and beautiful tube character on vocals, bass, guitars, drums, room mics, and mix sources.

I purchased this unit from Vintage King years ago for my private professional studio. It has been very lightly used since then and has mostly been kept as part of a high-end vintage studio collection.

This is not a modern reissue. It is a vintage Teletronix LA-2A Revision 1 Gray Face.

Condition:

The unit presents beautifully for its age and has seen very little use in recent years. It has been kept in a private studio environment and treated as a collector-grade piece of vintage recording equipment.
