SONOR BRASS VINTAGE SHELL WITH HOOPS 12" x 4"
_
The shell is damaged and shows several visible cracks (as shown in the photos). The hoops are fully intact and free of any damage.
This is a very interesting classic snare drum shell with hoops from Sonor, manufactured in Germany in the post–World War II era, most likely in the 1940s or 1950s. Both the shell and hoops are made of brass, and the set includes marching-style hardware mounts.
This piece can serve as a solid base for a professional restoration or as a valuable source of parts for building a vintage-style snare drum.
