The TC Electronic Hall of Fame 1 (HoF 1) is a digital reverb pedal that was produced between 2011 and 2017. It is considered a modern classic because it offers enormous tonal versatility in a compact, rugged enclosure.

Core functions and controls
The pedal has four main controls and a small selector switch:

• Decay: Determines the length of the reverb tail.
• Tone: Controls the brightness of the reverb without affecting the dry signal.
• FX Level: Mixes the reverb signal into the original signal.
• Reverb type: Selects between the different reverb models.
• Pre-delay switch: A small toggle switch between the controls allows you to choose between short and long pre-delay.

The Hall of Fame offers 10 built-in reverb types as well as one slot for TonePrints:

• Classics: Room, Hall, Spring, Plate, and Church.
• Special effects: Mod, LoFi, Tile, Ambient, and Gate.
• TonePrint: A free slot that can be loaded with custom sounds from professional musicians via USB or a smartphone app.

Technical highlights

• Stereo in/out: Allows use in complex stereo setups.
• Analog dry through: The dry guitar signal is passed through analog and not converted digitally, preserving signal integrity.
• Bypass options: Users can choose internally between True Bypass for maximum signal clarity and Buffered Bypass for long cable runs.
• Kill-dry: Users can internally switch to Kill-Dry. In that mode, the dry guitar signal is not passed through, and only the effect signal is heard at the output, for example when used in a mixer via an AUX send.
