The Made in Japan Traditional series was created by blending Fender’s traditional instrument-making aesthetics with the refined craftsmanship of Japan. Fender’s authentic DNA is faithfully revived with reliable Made in Japan quality.

The Made in Japan Traditional ’70s Telecaster® Thinline features a gloss-finished ash body. A 9.5-inch-radius “U”-shaped maple neck equipped with 21 vintage-style frets delivers the classical playability characteristic of the Traditional series. The six-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge, along with original pickups specially selected for the Traditional series, produces a realistic and musical vintage tone. The slightly narrower nut width is designed to provide comfortable playability for Japanese players as well. Solid guitar craftsmanship and a flexible response to players’ needs are fully reflected in this series.
