Up for sale is a rare set of three Siemens Sitral V273 broadcast amplifier modules.

Sourced directly from a professional vintage Siemens mixing console which was used for broadcasting in Germany until 1999 (see pictures).

Unlike standard mic preamps, the V273 was specifically engineered to IRT standards as a heavy-duty talkback, intercom and line amplifier stage for studio communication and command buses.

Featuring discrete Germanium/Silicon circuitry and high-grade Haufe transformers, these modules deliver excellent headroom and the robust, punchy German broadcast tone. They are widely used by audio engineers for custom racking, line-level color/drive, or talkback system restoration.

Included:

- Matched Pair (2 Units):

Fully tested and 100% operational. Both modules have been bench-verified and exhibit matched performance characteristics. See pictures.

Clean, high-headroom amplification with pristine frequency response across the entire audio spectrum.

Electrical Status: Stable quiescent current, fully functional controls, and healthy Haufe transformers.

- Single Unit / Repair Project (1 Unit):

Sold as defective / for parts or repair.

This unit exhibits thermal drift — the quiescent current continuously rises over time during operation. It requires servicing (likely re-biasing or replacing aging components/transistors in the bias circuit).

Core components, transformers, and switches are fully intact, making it an ideal repair project or donor unit for rare Haufe spare parts.

General Features:

-  Original Siemens Sitral cassette format

- Premium balanced Haufe transformers (input and output) for classic German broadcast iron character

- Rotary gain/level controls on the front panel

 - Designed for standard +24 V DC console power supply rails

- Built to heavy-duty professional German broadcast specifications

Good vintage condition with expected minor signs of front panel wear from rack mounting and age (please review high-resolution photos).
