The Beyerdynamic M130N (C) ribbon microphone with figure-8 polar pattern is the brother (SIDE) of the M160N (MID). Together they form the ultimate reference Mid-Side pair.
Serial number: 2960.
If you're here, you already know what it's capable of, especially thanks to its "N" designation.
If you're curious, the sound is warm AND clear!
The (C) means it's the XLR version.
I used it with an SE Electronics DM2 TNT to bring out interesting musical harmonics on various instruments. Like any ribbon mic, a proper preamp is essential to reveal its true character.
I'm parting with this gem because I now use a Neumann RSM 190i for my MS recordings, which better suits my versatile work as a composer and studio/field sound engineer.
Acquired a few years ago in very good condition, always kept in a protective case and used with absolute care.
