The RAT taken apart and put back together with better parts and more options. Socketed op-amp so you can swap in an LM308 — the chip from the original 80s circuit — without soldering. A Fat switch adds serious bass weight. A second clipping switch toggles between silicon (the classic RAT bite) and MOSFET/germanium (smoother, more amp-like, slightly scooped mids).
Large CTS pots give a smooth taper throughout the range. This is the version for players who know the RAT well and want more out of it.
