The 59 is a dynamic-type microphone with a supercardioid polar pattern with a frequency response of 45-16,000 Hz in close miking situations and 100-14,000 Hz (measured at 1 m) for distance miking. The 59 is targeted to a more discerning artist desiring enhanced performance capabilities at an easily affordable price point.
