The 2007 Gibson Custom Shop R7 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue is an authentic reproduction of the legendary '57 Les Paul! With its beautifully aged Goldtop finish, this guitar brings the atmosphere of the 1950s to life.
The 1957 Les Paul Goldtop represents a crucial moment in guitar history. In that year, Gibson experimented extensively with new specifications, resulting in instruments that are among the most sought-after vintage guitars today.
This 2007 Goldtop features a mahogany body and maple top, the classic combination that gives Les Pauls their characteristic warm, mid-range tone. The '50s Rounded neck profile and the one-piece rosewood fingerboard offer the authentic playability that '57 Les Pauls are known for!
The Gibson Custombucker pickups deliver that typical vintage output with plenty of character, sustain, and dynamics.
Aside from its aged finish, this 2007 Goldtop has sustained only minimal signs of playwear and is in excellent condition. It comes with its certificate of authenticity and TFOA passport in a luxury case.
